- Move
- Stir the heat. Fill the meter and it melts down.
- Click
- A spark. Click the name and it rings. Twice, fast, and the signal tears (and that is the way out of any world).
- Hold
- The page tears open. Keep holding: five floors down. Raise your hand to rush, lower it to slow.
- Hold + stir
- A whirlpool. Wind it all the way up and you go down it.
- Shake
- Side to side, quick. Echoes.
- Two fingers
- The page pours out of one and into the other.
- Scroll
- One way widens the x-ray. The other shuts it into a torch, then a magnet, then a prism. Each does something else on a click.
- X-ray
- A few lines of cipher are buried under the page; hold it on one and it decodes. Doors drift under there too and will not hold still: stay dead centre on one until it gives. Seven things live here, three at a time. Follow the signal bars.
- Keys
- Space stops time · Shift is a torch while held · Arrows fly · 1–5 change the sky · Shift+M mutes · Esc leaves a world · P freezes the frame, to print · type anything: the keyboard is an instrument
